This stream of engineering is concerned with applying knowledge in electronics to facilitate communication and solve engineering problems.
This stream of engineering focuses on diverse aspects such as digital system design, digital signal processing, microwave engineering and electromagnetic theory. The students are also provided an opportunity to choose specialization electives to focus on their identified areas of interest like wireless communication, embedded systems, VLSI fabrication technology, speech processing, satellite communication, biomedical signal processing, and optical communication.
We consider the several resourceful opportunities exist at the boundaries and have ccordingly planned for cross-training of students across disciplinary boundaries. As a discipline ECE focuses on the design of underlying hardware systems. Our curriculum is directed to applications in major areas such as telecommunications, energy and electronics sectors, while encouraging development of necessary skills for integration of hardware and software components.
Electronics and communication engineering course give enormous job opportunities in electronics and software companies. All electronic devices need software interface to run and come with one other or other device controlling programs architected and developed by electronics and communication engineering. It also gives great opportunities for research and development, as everyday consumer need new devices to support them in daily life.

At CCET we try to balance engineering education with the fundamentals that engineers will need during their career and the skills that they need to start functioning as engineers upon graduation. During the course of study students will acquire necessary theoretical knowledge as well as practical know-how during classes conducted in laboratories.
